Sales Commission Module

Oak Brook, IL, September 2017

Nordic Energy is pleased to announce its successful implementation of Alpine's Commission Module. The module delivers a series of benefits to a robust, fully integrated system that offers complete flexibility for commission calculations and reconciliations. By incorporating these new features, Nordic has expanded its suite of Alpine products gaining more complete capabilities to run its sales and operations teams more efficiently.

Alpine's Commission Module is fully capable and allows retailers to apply a variety of unique commission structures to individual organizations such as one-time payments, residual plans, pre-payments, claw-backs, all with the option of thorough reconciliation. Alpine Energy Systems' pricing app ranks high
in broker satisfaction

Third-Party study conducted by Energy Research Consulting Group identifies top portals in the restructured energy market.

Oakbrook Terrace, IL, June 15 – New research from the Energy Research Consulting Group indicates Alpine Energy Systems portal for aggregators, brokers, and consultants (ABCs) ranks high in user satisfaction. The study was completed in early June and encompassed national input from ABC portal users and suppliers.

Alpine Energy ranked number two in ABC users’ overall satisfaction. The high ranking can be attributed to having one of the fastest pricing portals in the industry, instant custom pricing and easy-to-use automatic contract generation. Additionally ABCs reported that Alpine had the highest share of users reporting an increase in transaction volumes over the last 12 months. “We take great pride in our software capabilities and delivering solutions that the industry needs and wants. When we developed the portal our goal was to create the best portal experience possible for both suppliers and their sales channels,” said Jim Deering, Principal at Alpine Energy Services.

Alpine Energy Systems is one of only a few outside portal vendors catering directly to the retail energy supplier industry. Some companies choose to build their portals in-house, which can be costly and difficult to maintain. By partnering with Alpine, suppliers are able to reduce expense and tap into an already proven portal.

Alpine Energy Systems is a sister company to Nordic Energy Services, LLC. The pricing portal was initially developed for Nordic and has been in use since 2010. The best in class portal experience and a gap in services provided to the retail energy industry led to the creation of Alpine Energy Systems, LLC. “The retail energy industry is in its infancy and continues to evolve. The formation of Alpine Energy Systems marks a new chapter of software and service to the industry,“ said Deering.

Alpine Energy Systems is led by three experienced energy industry Principals: Jim Deering, Michael Wood and Frank Brumfield.
